Precautions during installation

1. Only use appropriate equipment to lift the air compressor in accordance with local safety regulations. Before lifting. Loose parts or rotating parts must be secured safely. It is strictly forbidden to pause or stay in the dangerous area when lifting contents. The acceleration and deceleration of the hoist must be kept within safe limits. You must wear a safety helmet when working at high altitudes or in areas with lifting equipment.

2. Place the air compressor in a cool and clean environment where the air is exhausted. If necessary, install the suction duct. Do not block the air inlet. Measures must be taken to minimize the intake of moisture into the air.

3. Before connecting the pipeline, all blind flanges, screw plugs, caps and desiccant bags must be removed.

4. The size of the air hose must be correct and suitable for use under working pressure. Do not use worn, damaged or old hoses. The dimensions of the branch and connection must be correct. And suitable for use under working pressure.

5. The inhaled air must not contain flammable gases, vapors and particles (such as paint solvents) that can cause internal fire or explosion.

6. Arrange the air inlets to prevent people from inhaling loose clothes worn by operators.

7. Ensure that the exhaust pipe from the air compressor to the rear smelter or air pipe network can expand freely after being heated. And do not approach or come into contact with flammable materials.

8. Do not apply external force to the air outlet valve; the connecting pipe must not be twisted or deformed.

9. If remote control is installed, the air compressor must be clearly marked, indicating: Danger: This air compressor is remotely controlled and may start without warning. Before maintenance or repair, the operator must ensure that the air compressor has been shut down and the isolating switch has been opened and locked. To further ensure safety, the person who turns on the power supply of the remote control air compressor should take adequate precautions to ensure that no one is inspecting or operating the air compressor. Therefore, the corresponding notice should be posted on the starting device.

10. The air-cooled air compressor must be installed in the following way: sufficient air can be obtained, and the exhaust gas will not be recirculated into the air inlet of the air compressor or the air inlet of the air compressor.

11. The electrical connection must comply with local regulations. The air compressor must be grounded and a fuse must be installed in each phase. To prevent short circuits. A lockable power isolation switch must be installed near the air compressor.

15. The pipes or other parts whose temperature exceeds 80°C (176°F) and which may be accidentally touched by normal operation personnel must be protected or isolated, and other high-temperature pipes must be clearly marked.

16. For water-cooled air compressors, a safety vessel whose pressure has been set according to the maximum inlet pressure of the quench water must be used to protect the smelting water system installed outside the air compressor.
